YO!
First impressions are EVERYTHING and they’ll last a LIFETIME! YOU only get one chance to make a good one and one person’s perspective can determine how they choose to speak about YOU with others. Human’s are creatures of habit and unfortunately we are placed in positions where deductive reasoning can save our lives and also create false senses of reality that we use to design our individual frame of mind. We all know what assuming can do to YOU and me (poor grammar) but sometimes these assumptions are simply survival tactics and I’m just trying to live…
Looking back and moving forward, I’m thankful to be able to share something with YOU that I presumed was lost for all time. During the recording for Until The Future, we recorded a bunch of beats and I wrote and wrote until the joints in my metacarpals started to beg for mercy. The process encompassed a good year and a half as I was just anxious to call it a wrap and proceed to the next stage, but in the final hour, my production partner, keyboardist and long-time good friend, Jason Burkhart sent a last minute track addition from Jewell, Iowa. Though he wrote the music on his family’s farm in America’s Heartland, the whinning guitars reminded me of something I might expect to hear sitting in on a session with our friends Warpaint at Josh Klinghoffer’s studio in Echo Park. So much so, I initially considered asking one of the lovely ladies to perform on the hook, but instead opted to let the instruments securely fasten the chorus as a musical section.
I am pleased to release this bonus track, cleverly titled “Introducing”, exclusively with YOU and I hope YOU like what YOU hear! Please share your thoughts by leaving honest comments or YOU can use E.S.P. and contact me via whatever medium you prefer. Say no to gypsies!!!
Thank you kindly!
ENJOY
stay up,
